I have called 6 times trying to get ahold of someone that can explain how the seat belts engage in the rear in a 2003 f150 lariat supercab. Every vehicle I've owned have been able to yank on the seat belt and it engages. Evidently after 1996 they started new technology to where you can't do that in the back seat. In the front seat you can. I can yank on the seat belt and it engages. I don't know if the seat belts work at this point. I am the second owner of this truck and it has less than 100,000 miles. I called the owner and I asked him if he ever had any issues with the back seat and he said no one ever sat in the back seat. I inspected the seat belts and they are brand new. I am trying to transition my daughter into a high back booster seat and I cannot because no one can give me a clear cut answer at any call center or at the Dearborn plant. I spent about 2 hours of my life trying to solve this mystery. If I get in a wreck and something happens to my daughter I will spend every last penny that I...
Read moreThis is the worst place for truck drivers they don’t care if you run out of hours. Dedicated contracts that were supposed to be drop and hook. Take about 4 hours to unload and reload. If u run out of hours they don’t care, they will tell u that it’s not there problem when they are the ones that caused the problem. If you are a owner operator you will loose more money than make. The reason I’ll never buy any ford vehicle is because of the way this place treats the driver. The order the stuff but don’t want to unload it from you’re truck. They are all lazy workers. The reason I stopped driving a truck is because of this place. Hopefully one day there will be a good management team for this place they are in...
Read moreIn 2020 Ford manufactured the rear axle casings thinner on their Ford F-350 SuperDuty pickup trucks, causing the rear axle to break loose and rotate, disconnecting the driveshaft. Unknowingly we purchased one of these new trucks, VIN 1FT8W3BT9LEE65359, and this driveshaft disconnect condition is exactly what happened to us three weeks ago. Even thought this repair is covered under recall 21s31 and the local Ford dealer replaced the rear axle, Ford refused to cover the cost of the bent driveshaft even though it was 100% their fault. This greedy company has fallen a long way from the ideals that Henry Ford did business under. You may be making a mistake buying a new Ford pickup truck from these...
