After purchasing the āEZ pipe and drape uprights,ā the product has proved to be DEFECTIVE and Event Decor Direct has given me the following answer...
āUnfortunately, we do not have a quick fix when it comes to this situation. Only a recommendation to purchase a newer set. You could possibly check with your local hardware store or somewhere similar, if you are looking to repair your current uprights. My sincerest apologies that I could not be of any further assistance. The fact that the uprights are no longer extendable is a HUGE problem for thousands of dollars in inventory. Without the option or information on HOW to repair the uprights, they are useless for our business.

Update. They missed my deliver by date by 2 weeks. When my 76 chairs finally showed up they were the wrong color. You can see in the picture below that the ivory chairs they sent me were not the beige chairs that I ordered. The chair on the left was the one that I already have. I already had half of my chairs in beige that I purchased last year. So delivering the wrong 76 chairs does not really work. When I called customer service to ask about the return policy, she said she would look into it. That was 2 days ago. I called twice today to see what was going on and I got disconnected both times. They tell me that the product I ordered isn't in stock. So I get a supervisor who was super nice- she checks the warehouse and tells me she will upgrade me to the higher quality linen and make sure it gets to me the day before my event. ONLY for 4 days to pass, I receive another call telling me that the upgraded linen isn't in stock either and they are cancelling my order. Now its too close to my event to even find another substitute. This is BEYOND UNPROFESSIONAL, and I would never trust them with my business again.
