CircuitHub did fine work building and assembling the board I contracted through them.
They have a lot of great features that remove much of the hassle of building PCBs through fab contractors: an online gerber viewer, a 2D component placement render, a firmware upload panel to get any programmable devices taken care of at the fab house, and easy revision control for making changes to subsequent orders of a revised board.
I still haven't quite gotten the hang of uploading a BOM to autopopulate components via DigiKey or Mouser, but the interface to select components via their web interface is painless to use.
Would use their product again, no question. I wish they worked with Orcad - I'd send all of my proto work through them instead of our Asian...
Read moreBy far the best fab and assembly house I have used. The ease of placing an order from their automated webpage is best part of working with them. Other fab houses takes days to just get a quote. I can get a quote and place an order here within 24 hours. fantastic!! Even the prices are 20-30% less than the big fab houses in Colorado and silicon valley. Their customer service is also second to none. Their sales rep (Especially John Jacquinet) responds to any requests within 2 hours. Love working with him. Even after an order is placed, the ease and pace of resolving BOM issues is quite amazing. We didn't even lose a day while resolving multiple out of stock parts. I love circuithub and could not think of using any other fab house in...
Read moreAs an Electronics Engineer at a small business, we have used CircuitHub for both small batch prototypes and production quality scale. Every time they have delivered prompt and high quality assembled PCBs. We have had no failure after around 20+ orders. The customer service is excellent - they are quick to respond and are always willing to find ways to lower cost and ensure our PCB files reflect the way we want them assembled. They have a great eye for catching common mistakes, and are always transparent should a part not arrive on time. They have made developing PCBs through a global parts shortage a much, much...
