We bought a king size Serta bed it was delivered we paid cash and it took two weeks for delivery. After having the bed it was defective sagging in the middle of my back and spouses back as butt. Called they set appt... It took another three weeks for them to come check they only have one person to do it. They replaced the bed with the next higher for our bed wawa i8 no longer available. We got bed again within two months it was defective. They came said yes we'll oder a new one. It took three weeks due to not having delivery personal or one person but need two. At this we were getting really upset in total they had to replace the bed four times. Now sense last October the fourth bed again defective we asked what is the issues this is a Serta Mattress. We told with the line of bed the had been having issues. They came in December knowing we were moving not wanting to take this bed. This time same guy that came out each time came with an older man as well. They messured the bed left it amess said we'll call you the bed needs to be 2 1/2 inches to be defective. Two days no call so I called he answered said sorry forgot to call. Then said it was only 2 inches so not defective "yet" I said you need to get back out an remeasure the mattress. He said well it will second week of January. This only making the issues worse for us not them. It seems with all appointments they missed with no call the the mattresses being replaced, we called Serta explained everything. Serta said that Ken's did not let them know we should ask for our money back. Well still nothing as of September I became I'll so couldn't go in to face to face. I did get better went end of October spoke to a gentleman explained everything to him he told us what we were told by the last guys was wrong the bed in fact only need to be 1 1/2 it had always been. I set up a time for him to come out. Unfortunately the day he was to come we nearly lost Dad so I called told him he said, well you want to reschedule then said I'm sorry just call me when you can. Dad Amen recovered 94%. ItsI not New Year's night and we're going to call on the 2nd knowing the last two guys older told us again 2". After all this we just want our money back. Dad said he knows the owners and they should do just that. I said we're so tired of not sleeping waking up with back achs body achs head achs we just want our money back and be done with it. Dad told us they had issues there as well. Our friends who are in there 50's their children also has issues with recliners, loveseat then reading more reviews others were having issues as well. We went in good faith to support again a local business and because they support The WBCL Christian music station. After going back in we noticed the stickers for WBCL were gone. As well again it was a different man in when we went into Ken's thus we will tell no more please just refund our cash...
Read moreThis has always been our go to furniture store; my family, starting with my grandparents, has purchased furniture from them since opening. It has changed hands recently. We will not be returning, nor recommending to any other people as in the past. While the problem was taken care of, the tone was not appreciated. We would have purchased a replacement piece from them; but when $25 became more important then treating a customer correctly, it was indication that our business isn't wanted. It is disheartening.
