Sequoyah Park — Local services in Del City

It's in a neighborhood that is not super safe. It has very few playground toys. It does have a new walking trail and newly painted tennis courts and basketball. There is not a dog park. I live near and choose to go to other parks instead. Might be a good place for a family picnic or birthday party but feel there are much bigger parks local for this and probably much more safe. At one time it was known for drug dealers. I took my children and found needles, condoms, meth pipes etc. I did not take my kids back. It is a very quiet park rarely see...

Years ago, it was a very nice little park. Originally it had a swimming pool and several rides for kids. The pool was deep sixed about 1985, and like the surrounding neighborhood, has been in significant decline ever since.

This park needs a upgrade, we still had fun even though the park is so outdated with old discolored rusty slides, sometimes I wonder who even owns the park, the city does and it looks a hot mess. Okc do better for our local kids that live...
