Edge Melt Systems — Local services in Delafield

I could not be more pleased with Edge Melt Systems and the ice melt solution they designed for me. I worked with Justin, who was extremely responsive throughout the process. I sent pictures of our very complicated roof. We have a sunroom with 15 skylights and some difficult intersections. Over the years, we have had ice dam issues resulting in leaks into our sunroom. The Edge Melt System resolved this once and for all. I installed the system myself, with Justin's guidance. It was easy and actually fun to install. Our electrician did the rest. We even had a problem with a faulty temp sensor and it was replaced promptly, which I appreciated. I highly recommend this solution. After 15 years of looking for an answer to our problem and not wanting to have to abandon some or all of our skylights, this did the trick. Had a valley on a metal roof that at times developed a ice dam and would get drips in the house. Local handyman tried gutter cable strung out in the valley. It worked for about a year before the ice dam was back. Searched for a product specifically for a valley on a metal panel roof and saw Edge Melt Systems had what I needed. They were too far from me to provide installation, but were very helpful with details on how I could do it. It has worked out great and I am inpressed by the quality of their materials. They did a great job! The materials are beyond anything I have seen, especially in a home improvement store. The system they installed saved us from having another winter of water inside the building. From the initial phone call to the follow up after the season, everyone has been very professional and attentive. I would highly recommend them for any ice damming issues on your home or commercial building like the one they did for us. You really don't notice the system, it just blends in and works.
