Updated: Well long story short, the tile that they installed turned out to be defective from the manufacturer — it developed dark grey discoloration on many of the tiles a few months after it was installed. It wasn’t the fault of American Wholesale Floors but Cassandra was zero help in addressing the issue. I got Gene, the store manager, involved and he was very proactive in getting all parties involved to figure out what went wrong and who was responsible— tile manufacturer, adhesive manufacturer, etc. I am grateful that Gene did not wash his hands of the problem and instead did the right thing. It’s been a horrible ordeal and it took over a year to get it resolved but it could have been a lot worse if they and the manufacturer had not taken accountability for the project and we would have ended up in a legal battle. They are currently replacing the tile they installed in all 3 bedrooms. It’s times like this when things go wrong that you really see folks’ true colors come through. And while it sometimes got heated during the renovation, I truly appreciate all of the hard work that Gene put into this. I felt that he cared about me and my home. Thank you, Gene!

We just had our living room carpet replaced recently with LVP flooring. My wife and I traveled around to many flooring stores in the Daytona, Deland, and Orange City area. When we went in to American Wholesale Floors in Deland, we were immediately impressed with the selection of quality flooring material. The owner happened to be in the store when we arrived and so we started chatting with him. He was so friendly and helpful in showing us around his new store. We then met with Cassandra, the general manager, who helped us select flooring samples that we could borrow to try out in our home. It did not take us long to decide that this was the store we wanted to do business with. Installation was done in one day and we could not be happier with the results. American Wholesale Floors also does kitchen countertops and backsplashes which my wife and I plan to do next. I highly recommend them and ask that you stop by and check them out for your next project. We are so glad we did.

Update 8/3/2022: We are now repeat customers! We had ceramic tile replaced in our master bath and LVP flooring extended into our master bedroom and staircase to second level. Everyone we delt with was very professional and did a great job. Installers always arrived on-time, work area was cleaned up at the end of every day, and we were always kept informed of the progress. We are still planning to use them for our kitchen remodel but wanted to finish our downstairs...

It was time to update our home. Decided on new back splash in our kitchen, carpet and floor tile through out our home. We met Cassandra when entering the shop who asked us a few questions and then directed us to all the products we were looking for. She offered suggestions and then we took samples home to make sure it was what we wanted. Cassandra ordered everything including grout and kept us informed on when the tiles and rugs came in. It was a great experience. Carpet was installed yesterday, installers were on time, worked quickly, and made sure we were satisfied . Great experience I would like to add to this review. It is now 3 years later, and we had a questions/concern about our carpet in the family room. Cassandra remembered us almost immediately. She resolved the concern by contacting the manufacturer - sent out a short questionnaire to us and within a week it was fixed. The installers that came to our home worked quickly, they were friendly and efficient. I HIGHLY recommend American Wholesale Floors and working with Cassandra.
