I bought a 50ft generator cord and when I tried to return it unused with receipt within 2 days you would not take it back. You pointed me towards your policy that you won't take returns on any hurricane related purchases. Upon requesting again that I was not aware of that policy and also that I needed the money desparately to fix the damage in my home from the hurricane, you went on to open the cable box and inspected the cord to see if I've used it. Upon inspection you saw that it was never used, you still refused to take it back. I even offered that you take some % off the price to return it, you refused to take it back. Not to mention that the price I paid was almost $400 for this genarator cord is unreal when Home Depot/Lowe's sells them for $200 or less. You're price gouging and taking advantage of desperate people. You know you did wrong and you should be ashamed for your actions. I hoped better from City Electric Supply which I mistook for a well reputed company, not this when clearly you could've a better during the time of people's desperation. Needed some supplies for my electrician to wire up my shop. He gave me a list and told me to go to City Electric in Deland. Andre Rodriguez, the store manager, is awesome! He was able to get everything for me between the Deland and Daytona branch. We had to special order some wire and he had it drop shipped to my house which was very convenient.
