After last year, when we ran the Italian Ice for the last couple of weeks at the corn maze, I was looking forward to having my company provide the same, great quality products that we have, to the public for this years event. I was approached by Troy Rentz for my company to provide the same product as we did last year. I was made to understand that we would be providing the Italian Ice for the entire run of the corn maze, then the first weekend was cancelled, then we where told that the first night we where not able to get to the location. Then on Saturday morning "I" was yelled at for not following some supposed "instructions" that where supposedly give to my manager of operations, she has no recollection of these instructions. Then my manager of operations was told that there had been another vendor wanting to provide the Italian Ice, who was told that we had the contract for the hole event by the operation personnel. On Sunday, the second day that we provided the Italian Ice, at the end of the day I was approached when I showed up to help with the closing down for the night. Troy Rentz sat down and told me that he was going to have another vendor selling the Italian Ice for the rest of the event. Troy being one of the owners of the harvest fields and the person who approached me in the beginning of this has relentlessly tried to contact my manager of operations due to her review. This is why I am writing...
Read moreSo my mom and I went for the fields of fright thing and it was just okay. You pay $20 per person and they take you on a trail through the woods on a hay ride there's a few scenes set up and like one person jumped out to scare us but the tractor pulls two trailers so unless your on the first trailer you kinda miss the jump scare. Then there's the corn maze... Now I was thinking we'd go through this whole long maze and get scared at every turn but really it's just a very small area that is sectioned off from the real corn maze and one person scares you before running off and jumping out from another angle. The corn maze was not scary at all but it was also ruined by the people using their phones for light, they should honestly say something at the start about no flash. Overall it was okay, I definitely wouldn't spend $20 again for it but I can see how it would be a good "haunted attraction" for kids and teens, we only spent about 30mins there. I'm thinking of going back during the day to see what the real corn maze is like but I'm just disappointed because I expected it to be bigger for the night one, I'm sure during the day it's not scary at all. Only reason I gave them as many stars as I did is because they set up their scenes pretty well and the actors did a good job, just wish there was more...
Read moreThe night or the Day one is good for kids under 10- they advertise that it's good for all ages and that the night one is scary- it's just that- at night.... but the scare factor is next to none - everyone of the hayride was laughing not screaming so it's funny really.... The Corn Maze is nice during the day and at night, was fun and i'm in my twenties, just it's maybe like A 2 Minute thing going thru at night time , very short overall, i embraced my inner child and 10$ wasn't bad just expect to stand in like 30-40 mins. because once you have the ticket, you got to wait to go to the actual ride....I wish they had corn for sale because I would of loved to buy some, however they do have pumpkins for sale but they...
