Winn-Dixie — Local services in DeLand

Always pleasent workers, and Chris (Mgr) will always greets you hello and continued yo always give a lending hand. Each department has staff that are very kind and extremely helpful. A local grocery store that knows your name. What a nice personal touch!!

My recent visit (end of year) was very disappointing. Although the store is older than most it is not very clean as it used to be. The cashier's should clean and disinfect the registers and belts much more often. As well as the bathroom. Apparently the corporation who owns the shopping center don't care about the outside of this shopping center or the safety of the customers. For the most part the associates are kind and helpful. But the store and shopping center are in need of much needed attention and repairs. I may spend a little bit more but I'd much rather do my grocery shopping lately at Publix. Their store is guaranteed to be very clean and well disinfectant, with plenty of associates to help in any way needed.

This Winn Dixie is our local home town store at one time it used to be pleasant to shop there when all the store fronts were full and now it's nearly empty, please do something about it before...

My husband, son and I went up the this grocery store that we go to at least 3 times a week and had the rudest cashier I have ever experienced in my life! Our cards black strip is worn so we normally and have before typed the card number in. Well this lady said "No you can't do that, just wait a minute!" Total unprofessional attutide in front of my child. As my husband explained "We have before?" She states "Well I was told I cant!" So my husband says "Okay, ill wait until you tell me totry again". So the cashier behind us said "What's going on?" Our lovely cashier explains she can't type the card number in. The cashier behind us explained she could. Aggravated beyond words we where ready to leave our groceries, just to save face. Our cashier Lesly tells us to "relax." And takes the card wraps it in a plastic bag and swips it. It works. Great! Wonderful. She gives us our receipt and says "There you go!" As we where walking out my son asks why was she that lady so mean? How do you explain that? A disgusting display of customer service. I will drive 20 minutes out of my way now to never pay for my...

Regular customer for many years .I'm handicapped and use the electric carts to shop today 1-22-2015 there was one charging ,understandable , one broken or did not work ? ask the foreign lady and she said there was one somewhere outside ,I can READ and these carts are not supposed to leave the store .Did she really think I was going to go look for it? Got back in my car and drove to the Winn Dixie on 15-A they were very glad to take my money. They were very pleasant and could not believe when I told them what she (the lady at your store) expected me to go look for the cart .They helped me out to my car and loaded my purchases ,I will no longer shop at your store .Sorry if I inconvenienced your employee but I believe now if I drive a few more miles for the GREAT service it is well worth it .And the $132.50 they earned your store lost and also lost me as a customer.I will tell my friends about the service you provided.Thank You ,Hope she does'nt have to work to hard ,once all the customer base is gone she may be the going to...
