For the reputation this place has, as well as the reviews, I truly expected a better experience. I purchased an expensive stage 3 racing suspension for my vehicle and installed it myself. They were the only guys local I thought I could trust to adjust everything better than I could. I went in needing the pinion angle adjusted with my adjustable third link, four wheel alignment with the panhard in the rear, castor/camber with my steeda plates, front sway bar adjustable end links tuned in as well. I got the car back with a bent tie rod that they swore they didn't do, a rear that hadn't been touched (my marks were still lined up) tie rod ends all scratched up from pipe wrenches or channel locks (they're billet with slots for normal open end wrenches, this was unprofessional) as well as chewed up and seized jamnuts from the adjustable ends being bottomed out and over-tightened. The worst part is lifting my car to replace the tie rod and finding that my front sway bar end links were disconnected, and one of them was missing. When the store was confronted, the technician who did the work had to be escorted out of the office because of his temper, and even threw a $100 on the table thinking it's enough to cover the replacement of the damaged parts (the suspension cost upwards of $6,500. Everyone there defended the tech swearing he's the best around but they would have the owner call, which never happened. Given that steeda made all the parts I installed on the car, next time I think I'd rather drive all the way to Georgia to have them adjust it. Hearing how most of their business is repairing machinery for the chicken farms around as well as their monster trucks, it seems that good enough is the expectation for...

This review is on behalf of my husband. This shop saved us for the OC Endless Summer Cruisin’ this past October weekend! We tried several other shops trying to have my husband’s drive shaft rebuilt. It began showing signs of failure on the way to the beach and surely would have let us down soon. This shop came highly recommended and we were NOT disappointed. We had two days to get it fixed before the show started. When my husband called, the gal on the phone could NOT have been more helpful. So we made the drive from OC to Delmar. Wolfy looked at the drive shaft and said “no problem, have it done tomorrow”. Even though my husband had brought new U-Joints, Wolfy said don’t worry I keep them in stock. Not only did we get a phone call not even 24 hours later that it was ready, but he had glass beaded it, balanced and painted it. It was perfect and ready for my husband to reinstall. This shop seriously saved our weekend for the car show. It also performed flawlessly on our 130 mile journey back home to Annapolis. We can’t thank ya’ll enough seriously. Stellar customer service & all-around great work! My boyfriend and I are new to the area and came to the metal shop for the first time last week.
