We use this pharmacy almost exclusively, due to it being a preferred pharmacy per our insurance and its proximity to our house. Regularly, they make errors in billing insurance, failing to bill insurance despite my thorough communication regarding our insurance. Most recently, I had several prescriptions that needed to be filled. I received a phone call from the pharmacist stating that my insurance was not active. I called my insurance company to attempt to resolve the issue. My insurance company assured me that my insurance was, indeed, active. I called the pharmacy back and relayed this information. The pharmacist attempted to re-input the insurance information, and informed me again that it was not active. I then called the insurance company, again. She assured me that there was not a problem on the insurance's end, but contacted the pharmacy to attempt to clarify the issue. After contacting the pharmacy she requested that I call the pharmacy and ask them to try again. The tech I spoke to was incredibly rude. She continually interrupted me as I spoke; she told me that the issue was an issue with the insurance company and that the insurance company was lying to me and that all insurance companies are not truthful. I told her that I felt like I was not being heard, that I just wanted rectify the situation, that I felt like I was being chastised, and that I felt like I was in the middle of a game of telephone between the pharmacy and the insurance company. At that point she offered to let me speak to the pharmacist, which I did. He was just as rude as the tech. When I brought up the concerns that I had regarding how they were treating me, he simply replied, "I don't know why you feel that way." Finally, I just requested the prescriptions to be filled as self-pay. Today, I called to follow-up with the insurance company. The reason the prescriptions were not able to be filled was because the first one was not covered by insurance; all of the others were. I am incredibly dismayed by the lack of competence and the customer service of...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst and last visit to this store. I am a couponer and was profiled from the moment that I walked through the door. As crazy as it sounds, I abide by all rules and even crazier, I expect they do as well. This was not the case with this store, it's manager; Mr. Martinez and the employee's. Apparently they don't care to follow the corporate guidelines that I'm required as a paying customer to follow. I was checking out and the manager refused to honor more than 3 of the Catalina coupons that THEY ISSUE. The Catalina AS WELL AS THE CORPORATE POLICY clearly state as long as the number of coupons doesn't exceed the number of items in the transaction there is no limit. I politely explained this to Mr. Martinez, he stated that it was a 'new corporate policy' that's not been released to the public yet. I decided to call corporate for confirmation of what was clearly BS. Sure enough, when he realized that I was calling corporate the story changed to his loss prevention told him not to take more than 3, NOT corporate. I remained on the phone with corporate and without asking he cancelled my entire transaction and said to redo it. I asked Mr Martinez why I'm expected as a customer to follow corporate guidelines but he as a managerial representative is not. Corporate clarified no policy changes, as expected but Mr Martinez said that it didn't matter what corporate said he's only taking 3. No problem, feel free to restock a cartful of items some of which were refrigerated and will have to be thrown away due to state guidelines. I bought the item's that issued another Catalina and gave bonus points. I spent $2 and change and gained a $5 register reward and over $10 in point's so you tell me who REALLY lost out due to their PETTY behavior ...DEFINITELY DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe pharmacy is horrible! If I could give a negative star I would do so. This has to be the worst pharmacy that Walgreens has. You call in your prescriptions the day before they are due to pick-up on the actual due date but they are never ready. They say they will be ready after 10am, but because they like to wield their power they make you wait. For example we are leaving for vacation and needed them at 9am, but they said absolutely not and they can make sure they are ready at 11am and that's being considerate because they have so many ahead of me. I have had issues with this pharmacy from day one. I called in my blood pressure medication to be refilled because it was running out of refills, so their automated system sent a text asking if you would like to request a refill so you don't run out. I pick up my last refill for it and they sent the refill request in the same day! My insurance is saying that I requested a refill too soon. They have a couple of nice techs. However, they pharmacy issues need to be addressed immediately, because you should not be treated like you're a crack head looking for a fix when your prescriptions are due the on the actual due date. Once these refills are done, I'm finding a different pharmacy. Get it together...
