My little one loves this park. I love how close it is to our house. It has a good variety of equipment and it's located on a pretty lake with a dock. It's hidden so if you're not from the area you'd never know it was there so I definitely think they should place signs out on Howland. The park has always been clean when I've come and they have picnic tables and a covered pavilion which I like because a lot of times when I bring my kids here we'll bring a picnic lunch with us and eat before we play. They also have 2 bathrooms however I've never used them so I can't speak about the cleanliness or how well they are stocked with items such as soap, toliet paper, seat covers, and paper towels. Everyone I've encountered here as far as parents and kids have been friendly and my little one always seems to make a new friend when we come. All in all it's a very nice park with a variety of ammenities and...
Read moreNice park to go to during sun light. Not the best lighting when sun starts to set. Park closes at sun down. Safety is a big part for my family and since the park is located further back on a side road by the Howland Walmart, they do need more bright lighting. Other than that, it's clean, there are benches to sit, a nice size pavilion with park tables and benches for parties. Nice large grassy area that is cut and beautiful trees for shade to have a nice picnic. The play area has a rubber ground, and has slides for younger and older children, they have two swings for little babies or toddlers and two swings for older children. They also have a zip line, and an Umbrella shaped ride on spinning spinning swing, if I recall it seats four. Also has a boat launch and an area that is covered and sitting to do some fishing! Check it out! Fun place for the...
Read moreFestival Park is beautiful. It was my first time visiting today and Google Maps directed me to turn into Public Works. I instead turned by Walmart and saw a sign for the park.
As for the park itself, it was super clean and well-maintained. The park has a lot to offer, more than other parks in the area which is great. The play area is surrounded by a fence, except for the section by the water which makes me nervous with little ones.
Sadly, the zip line was broke so my crew was disappointed. This is a playground with a lot of shade and a nice open space for the kids to play ball and run around. I do wish they had more picnic tables near the playground.
Overall, I do recommend Festival Park in Deltona. The kids loved it. Bathrooms were clean. We...
