Best nail place in the Bergen country area! Pre-pandemic, I would go to the city and pay over $100 for a decent gel art manicure, that would last maybe two weeks. I actually found this place after admiring a friends nail and she recommended this place.

The store has easy parking. The store itself maintains good social distancing (they take your temperature, sanitize, have partitions, leave empty stations for social distancing) The actual gel manicure quality speaks for itself. I got my nails done about a month ago and all the my nails are still pretty perfectly intact. It is week 5 and only now has it started to chip away. I opted for a minimalist look but they are also well equipped for my complex and lavish designs.

This might be particular with me, but if you want to have a conversation with your manicurist, you can. The staff is nice and welcoming; otherwise, if you just want to get your nails done and not be bothered, they are good at not making the silence feel awkward. In these times of COVID, sometimes the small talk can be welcoming or repetitive.

The WORST nail salon in NJ RUDE AND UNSANITARY! I’ve been here three times and it’s been all equally horrible. First they’re rude the lady I had clipped my nails and it poked my face and she did not apologize then when I asked her to do a third coat for my gel nails she gave me a dirty look very rude treatment you’ll get from the staff. They’re also not sanitary, after they shave off your gel nails they don’t wipe off the dust with a wet towel like any clean nail salon does and they proceed wit brushing on the gel base coat RIGHT ON TOP OF THE DUST. Another lady I had for a manicure removed my gel nails with the machine very harshly because she was too lazy to wait for the stone and foil wraps to dissolve I ASKED HER MULTIPLE TIMES TO BE GENTLE AND SHE IGNORED THE HEALTH OF MY NAILS and my nails are still brittle and always bleeding 3 months later. The grandpa there that does pedicures cuts your toe cuticles too much both my mother and I have bled from his careless cutting both times we’ve went to him. I can’t say enough good things about Stellar Nails. I have been going there for quite some time now and will not go anywhere else. I usually go to the same person every two weeks when I get my gel manicure. However, I have probably been to most of the nail techs there. Each one has always been professional and has done a really great job. The fact that you can show them any design or give them an idea of what art you want on your nails, is never an issue and they come out beautifully.
