Enjoyed this cruise for about 50 people to celebrate my parents' 50th Wedding Anniversary on 7/13/2015. Little did I know the weather is iffy at The Cape, but luckily it was absolutely perfect for us. The top of the boat is open air and not covered with a large table in the middle and chairs around it and the bar is there too.. it was perfect with a breeze - bring a hat / sunscreen. Down below are nice built in picnic tables and felt air conditioned.. has windows and was cooler down there. We had tomato / mozzarella, fruit, grilled cheese, chicken tenders, steamers, lobster rolls, and cupcakes. Everyone raved about the food! We rented the boat for 3 hours which gave plenty of time to mingle with everyone in town for the big event. They recommended meeting up after at the Lost Dog Pub which was also perfect to keep the party going a bit longer. This was a real treat for even the locals of The Cape to say they experienced this cruise - everyone had a total blast and the staff couldn't have done a better job from answering my myriad of questions beforehand to the day of - highly recommend for a truly...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to check out the lobster roll cruise in Dennis, MA. We decided to go with the dinner cruise which departs at 4pm and returns by 5:45. The crew is extremely friendly and we departed on time. On the way out, everyone went to the roof top bar and open deck. It was a beautiful late afternoon cruising the bay, checking out the cape shore line and beaches. 45 minutes into the cruise, they stop and drift a while, then ring the dinner bell and every one retreats to the dining room below the deck where they serve the dinner you chose. The lobster roll is huge, you won't be disappointed. But if you want a whole lobster dinner, or roast beef, or salad you have the option when you make the reservation. While eating in the dining room, you can watch the bay out your window. It seems we no sooner finished our dinner and we were at the dock, perfect timing!
We'd highly recommended as a different and...
Read moreTook eight people on this adventure today. I was skeptical to say the least. The Ships staff were very efficient and saw to everyone's needs on boarding. It was very sunny and Unfortunatly we forgot sun screen. No problem the staff found a gallon dispenser and we were covered quite well.
The staff tending the bar's were fast and efficient and the prices were reasonable given where we were. Then came the biggest surprise of all. I was expecting , given the $ 50.00 cost , a small soggy sandwich in a styrofoam box. No such luck , the service was quick and on , get this, China platters. The amount of Lobsta was unbelievable , guessing at least a quarter pound if not more. It came with coleslaw and chips and dessert after. Yes they did have styrofoam , but just to take home what you couldn't finish.
Best place on the Cape for a good, no great ,deal on lobster and a great cruise on the Cape....
