This is more about the atmosphere than it is about the overall food.

We came here for dinner on a Tuesday, the day after Labor Day. It was about 630pm. There was a line around the corner but it did move along, I probably waited for about 15-20 minutes. My family waited in another line to get a table while I went in line and ordered the food separately, definitely the way to do it. My wife said it was crazy trying to get a table on her own without a staff member helping. It's a free for all. Folks were cutting my wife and my 3 little kids to sprint to a table multiple times because wrangling kids to then get them moving all at once takes a little time, therefore she had a challenge finding a table.

While I was in the main food ordering line, people were NOT socially distancing of 6ft in line at all! I stood 6ft back from the person in front of me, but the rest of the folks and the group behind me did not follow that rule, even though there were signs in line about the 6ft social distancing multiple times. I hope the establishment puts 6ft markers or lines in the ground to help remind people how important and unsafe it is to not be 6ft apart.

It got dark by 730pm and there were no lights to illuminate the outdoor seating compare to other outdoor dinning restaurants who have lights.

We ended up with a table next to the parking lot and did not get a good view at all next to the water, therefore there goes the whole hype and experience that gets this place that 4 star and higher rating. I believe to get the full experience you have to come during off hours and/or lunch.

The service and flow was very smooth while doing their best during Covid standards.

The food was not impressive for the main dishes but a couple did shine. We are New Englanders and know our food and have been to several Cape Cod restaurants like this. My favorite is still JT's in Brewster.

Here is my food rating based on what we ordered. 1 worst to 5 best.

fisherman's platter: 3 clam chowder: 5 lobster bisque : 2 stuffed clam quahog: 5

The lobster bisque it's basically liquid and no pieces in it at all, very disappointed. The fries and fish in the platter were soft and not crispy. The fried food is mediocre and you can experience that anywhere. The clam chowder and stuffed quahog were the best thing we ate.

In summary this place is really about the view of you can a table for it. Probably will not return unless...

Incredibly average place with a strong reputation. If I could give 2.5 stars...well that is what I was going for, but since the lobster was cooked perfectly, I give the extra half star.

This place is a money-grab-tourist-trap for sure. The owner definitely goes on vacation with the local IRS agent to keep this cash only business cleared.

Their “world famous lobster roll” is good but in my opinion, not worth the experience with the $23 price tag (per roll). To me it is the experience that is hard to justify the price. You wait in a line, you grab your food when your number is shouted and then you are left to fend for a table (better be quick and slightly aggressive). If it was a sit down place with a server, I could see the price justification, but for the lack of accommodations, it is very close to getting the 2 star from me.

Location location location they say. Hats off for selling the most New England thing in the epicenter of New England place. No substitutions on the fries, so if you want their advertised “hand cut onion rings” that’ll be extra (not to mention extra food you may not want). No where does it say cash only until you are about 20 minute into a line and a 90 degree turn from their personal ATM machine.

If you are a huge fan of lobster, only have 1-2 mouths to feed, and deep pockets... why not? You’re probably on vacation anyways. A cool $53 for 2 rolls, hand full of fries and a snapple may be worth it if the money is burning a hole in...

Perhaps one of the best seafood spots you will ever find on the Cape!

We visited Sesuit Harbor Cafe while on the Cape for a weekend soccer tournament and this place did not disappoint. Though the parking lot sparked a bit of fear that lines would be long, the line moved rather quickly as we made our way to the counter.

The only downside of the restaurant is that it is cash only and though there is an ATM right next to the counter complete with a less than friendly service charge in this day in age it would be nice to grab a digital POS and save customers the hassle.

We ordered lobster rolls which, hands down, were some of the finest that we've ever had. Absolutely stuffed with fresh lobster meat, the lobster roll was a fork and knife short of sandwich and did not disappoint. The kids opted for the fish and chips which featured perfectly battered, flaky white fish and delicious fries.

While waiting for the main course, we did opt to grab some oysters and shrimp cocktail from the raw bar where a nice variety of raw bar items were offered. The oysters were fresh as can be and the shrimp cocktail were plump and enjoyed by all.

The restaurant is situated right on an inlet and is a great spot to sit outside and enjoy a great meal. Plenty of diners took advantage of the BYOB nature of the spot and enjoyed the quality food, waterside dining and nice weather the day we were there.

All around, a great spot that is certainly worth...

Full plate full belly embarked on a mission this weekend— a quest to discover Cape Cod’s finest lobster roll. This culinary journey will unfold throughout the summer, so prepare for an immersive experience! The inaugural stop perfectly captured the essence of Cape Cod with its charming decor, picturesque location, and inviting ambience. Sesuit Harbor Cafe in East Dennis was a standout. My favorite part was savoring a delectable lobster roll while gazing at the passing boats. It was a truly memorable experience. The lobster roll itself was incredibly flavorful; the buttered roll was perfectly executed, and the combination of mayo, lobster, and lettuce was impeccably balanced. While I personally prefer smaller pieces of lobster, the overall taste was exceptional. If you find yourself in East Dennis, a visit to Sesuit Harbor Cafe is a must-do—you’d regret missing out on their superb rolls! 🦞⛵️⚓️ Rating: 7.9/10 #fyp #food #capecod #lobstah #boston #foodtok
