Comfort Center Furniture — Local services in Denton Township

What a pleasure to deal with knowledgeable and professional sales staff. After having issues with other furniture stores we decided to try the Comfort Center in Prudenville. We were greeted by Gladys who proved to be one of the best retail sales persons I have met in years. She was pleasant, professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. We were able to find the furnishings we were looking for and needed without being prodded and goaded into something we didn't want She was truthful about expected delivery dates and expectations, which were met and even exceeded. The product arrived and was set up without a hundred calls. She actually called us and kept us apprised of delivery. The gentlemen delivering were exceptional also. (I don't want to forget them). when the manufacturer seemed to block a promotion which was promised, Gladys stepped in and handled it from that end. Thank you Gladys for the salesperson you are and more importantly, as the person you are. You are genuine and a pleasure to have done business with. We will return when our needs include...

I am on mattress #3!! Whoever said if Gladys is working just leave. I AGREE 100%!! I thought since Gladys was working for us, I was going to get a couch and loveseat. She said she ONLY had the floor one. She called me more than once about buying the couch and loveseat. Told me that someone else was interested in them. THEN, how amazing, there was 2 people who wanted it. I went to decide on mattress NUMBER 3 and miraculously she 1 in the warehouse. To make things worse? The 1st one was $500ish. After the sides broke down, went and picked up mattress 2. It was $900 MORE. This one broke down in 10 DAYS! Go back for #3. $200 LESS than #2 and she refused to give me the difference COMING to me! I will be calling my credit card company. I told her to come and get this one....

If Gladys is working, just leave. The selection is minimal and everything is cheaply made and overpriced. I had to return a product (which Gladys tried to refuse less than 24 hours later) because the entire product was crooked, causing me to lean. Also, my mother wanted to pitch in $150, but she was charged $750. I rightfully was refunded, but no thanks to Gladys.

She also had 2 friends there she referred to as her "part-time help," but they wouldn't even help me load a chair into my car. Pretty sure she just doesn't want to be alone so she has her friends sit with her and leave 5 star reviews with her name. Seems pretty irresponsible and selfish...
