This is a nice store located conveniently with a pharmacy. You can get your flu shot here and pick up some household items, food, makeup and a greeting card. If you need cigarettes or tobacco products and liquor you can find it here as well. They have some nice skeletons for Halloween right now. Get in quick before they are all gone. Surely they will have some Thanksgiving and Christmas decorations coming up for our next holidays after the Halloween holiday at the end of the month of October. Walgreens positions itself as a convenient neighborhood stop for both retail items and essential pharmacy services, a promise it often delivers on thanks to its widespread locations. The general merchandise section is reliable for quick grabs, from personal care items to household necessities, and the store layouts make finding items relatively simple. The pharmacy offers handy digital tools like the "Refill by Scan" feature on its app, which can make the process faster, and some customers praise the friendly, knowledgeable staff who remember them and check for medication interactions. However, the experience can be highly inconsistent and often disappointing. The most common complaints revolve around the understaffed pharmacies, leading to excessively long lines and wait times, with some customers reporting delays of up to several hours or even weeks for prescriptions to be filled. Customer service in the pharmacy is frequently criticized for being unprofessional, with reports of staff not answering phones, getting prescriptions wrong, or generally appearing overwhelmed and uncaring. In-store prices also tend to be higher compared to other retailers. Ultimately, while the proximity is a major draw, the potential for significant pharmacy-related frustrations means shopping at Walgreens...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI donāt say this lightly when I say GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.I would give zero stars if i could. Iāve been using this walgreens for a while and itās never been good, but after today (8/28/25) I will never come here again. Itās an absolutely awful pharmacy thatās never open and has horrendous customer service. I came in for the third time in two days and the pharmacy was closed each time (during hours they are supposed to be open). I very kindly tried to ask the front desk worker (the woman with large fake lashes) about information on the pharmacy and she was incredibly rude to the point I had a panic attack upon leaving (the reason i needed to go to the pharmacy in the first place). They are always short staffed and I have always been understanding and forgiving but when you staff people who are simply unkind itās no wonder others donāt want to work there. To that woman at the front desk, you never know what someone is going through and i hope someone treats you with patience and empathy when you need it, unlike how you were to me. Walgreens like this are why they have a bad reputation.
If you want a different option the walgreens on ingersoll has a much better staff, plus they are...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis review is based solely on Anna and Ali in the pharmacy. They were both super nice on the phone and in person regarding a RX send in by a BAD dentist. I kept getting notifications from Walgreens about if I was going to pick up my prescription when I had gotten it from Anna and there were no refills. Ali told me it was the doctor (DDS) that sent it in TWICE his mistake, not your pharmacy. Sadly I have had not great experiences with the store staff, including one who had 4 people in line behind me, didn't call for help at the register while I searched my wallet and purse for A PENNY. She was very unfriendly and this store goes through cashiers alot, too bad the great ones seem to move on. But PLEASE tell your pharmacy manager how awesome Anna and Ali were. Too late to do the survey with...
