Ian Grant and the Umoja family are true connoisseurs of fine art and the rich history of African American artists. Through my interaction with Ian and several of his showcased artists, I have learned about historical figures and moments I had never heard of as well as how to examine the authenticity of art and the meaning behind some of the various styles of art.
