I have been going to this church for 4 years and really enjoyed going until recently. Yesterday was the most disrespectful and un-Christ like experience I have experienced attending this church. I recently joined this church a month ago. Was very glad to finally feel as though I found a church that cares about the people. I invited my aunt who unfortunately suffers from a medical condition in which she has to have a medical dog with her at all times because of her condition. The very first day the secretary told her that the dog could not come in. My aunt informs her that she is a medical dog (a yorkie.) So the dog is very small and my aunt carrys the medical dog on a shoulder pouch. After my aunt gives the secretary her government issued paperwork to inform her that she has legal documents to take the dog everywhere with her in case of an emergency they take her identification and make a copy. She is then seated for service. My aunt had been attending for a month and was enjoying the service. So the following week the same procedure happen and my aunt did as she was told. They told her that she wouldn't have to worry about checking in anymore with her paperwork and that she can enjoy the service. Needless to say that was not the case. August 13, 2017 My mom and myself had just made it to service and was waiting for my aunt to arrive when the head of secretary come up to us and approached my mom and asked her did she have her dog. My mom tells the security no that is my sister and she is on her way. The security guard tells mom that she is no longer allowed to attend with the dog. So we asked why. Very nasty the head of security says as a church we have a right to refuse if we want to. He goes on to say that upon further review of their bi-laws they will no longer will allow my aunt in with her medical dog. So we left. We called my aunt to tell her don't come and what happened but she was already in the parking lot. As we waited for my aunt to get out the car to greet us we noticed that security guard followed us out of the church with 2 police officers as if we were going to do something. My aunt walks up to the head of security and asked him after all of this time she is not allowed to attend service. Again, with no compassion and heart for the people he says "As a church we have the right to refuse! " My aunt asked could she see their bi laws and he refused. She asked for her paperwork back he refused. She asked him could she speak with the bishop about the matter he refused and told her to call Monday! He could not answer any of our questions about why they were refusing us to come into service all of a sudden and the fact that he didn't care at all and felt the need to bring police with him to follow 3 women out of the building and stared at us until we left the parking lot makes me question is this a church in which healing, deliverance, love, compassion, salvation happens..or is it this just a pretty building. We have...
Read more🌟 GOT AWAY TOUR 🌟 Reflecting on McDonald's favorite annual praise concert at Second Ebenezer Church. While the venue was beautiful, there were some disappointments to note: Paid for VIP, but our names were missing from a non-alphabetical VIP list. Missed the chance to meet the artist, despite it being included in the ticket. The "red carpet" video turned out to be general admission, not the VIP experience we expected. Now, despite the bumps, the performances were incredible!⤵️ 🎤 BRE: The youngest artist was a powerhouse with amazing stage presence and a Holy Spirit-filled performance. 🌟 J Anthony Brown: Transitioning from video to live performance was seamless and captivating. 🙏 Pastor Mike: His prophetic ministering through various mediums was transparent, approachable, and deeply impactful. #GOTAWAYTOUR #PraiseConcert #MusicHighlights #SecondEbenezer...
Read moreI came for a podcast tour show about evangelism. It was a lot of people and very hot and mugy. They made everyone leave their water outside. Which okay your house your rules I understand. When I asked for water the thats whennit got interesting. I was first directed to water fountains, which were covered with plastic. Then I asked another volunteer who basically gave me all type of attitude and sass and asked me what I wanted her to do about it. I'd suggest them have cold water and cups in the lobby for guest to enjoy in that area. Overall it was the attitudes by the volunteers that turns me off especially when I'm here learning how to evangelize.
So 1 if you're going to an event here no drinks allowed even if it's water. But it's a pretty big venue. Seats were...
