Dollar General — Local services in Dover

Hands down my favorite store to go to I can and will and always do spend at least one hour inside no such thing and ima just grab one thing or I’ll be in and out lol but no seriously though I got to say not always do I have to wait in line 3 times total can I remember juts waiting in line no other registers open but once was during busy hours and once’s had a new guy and I’m inpatient lol but I’m not sure if they juts like me or I’m kinda like a big deal there but I always get vip fast pass whatever you will call it. When it comes to check out. Not ever have they not had what I needed got 2 stores in my town so if one don’t the other will just hair die can’t ever get a good match or got what I want I need two and a half boxes lol but the people are wonderful and always always have people stocking and making sure everything is placed in the right spot on he shelf have to give to them. Every single time I use their restrooms never smelled like pee or been dirty just paper towel on floor witch could have been from a Kid previously but I don’t like the automatic lights I was useing bathroom once and didn’t move for all of 37seconds and the light cut off I screamed I was so scared lol like hello haha but hands down. This store is jam packed with great prices, almost overly so, but understandable considering it is one of the main go to shops so people don't have to drive 30 miles to the nearest walmart.

The staff is sharp, professional, and doing a great job considering how many customers they deal with and how much product they probably push through per day. Cannot overstate the warmth and professional friendliness the staff exudes, and it definitely helps.

The prices and sales help along with the Dollar General app with resultant coupons makes a big difference for people on a tight budget.

Decent store with decent people, but multiple times over the past few years I have placed a pick up order over the app. They delay it before the pick up window even starts, wait until AFTER the pick up time, and then cancel it, I assume out of pure laziness. Then, you have to wait multiple days for the system to give you your money back. Ridiculous.
