Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Dover

I always get my drinks from sonic as they DID have the best (past tense) I got my usual drinks today and used the app as always since they're half off through it. Well let's start with the tea, again usually good, it was gritty for some reason. The cherry limeade was overloaded with cherry syrup. All natural lemonade was forgotten and had to wait additional time for that. The limeade had more ants than I could count floating on the top when i opened to look to see if they remembered to add the cherries. On the lid of my cup of ice was different colors as if that lid had been used for different things. So I decided to get some tots while waiting and they were exceptionally cold. I decided to try their new sweet and tangy bacon cheeseburger and that was a joke. I got 2 one with pickles and tomato added. Well get home and open them to find a disaster. The bottom buns were grease soaked and you can visually see the color change the grease caused. I ignored it and just thought maybe that's because it has grilled onions on it. Well after a few bites I looked and the bacon was missing from both burgers and the one was missing the tomato and was still raw, but the edges of the burger itself was almost black so not sure what happened there. On top of all of this I waited over 20 mins and pressed the buttons a total of 3 times just to have to pull through the drive thru because they kept telling me someone was on the way and over 20 mins still no burgers, I pulled up and repeated situation and then waited again by the door for the burgers. Needless to say I will not be going back. Side note never had any good ice cream from here since I was a kid place has gone down hill. No pride in this...

This was an awful experience!! It was 8:30 Monday night, very few customers. We ordered a 3 piece chicken combo, a crispy chicken combo & a crispy chicken sandwich. We waited at least 10 minutes. They brought 1 napkin with that much food. My tenders were not warm & they were hard. The sandwiches had no tomatoes on them and no lettuce on one of them, just pickles. We ask to see a manager who looked like he wasn't even out of high school. He ask if we wanted the sandwiches remade, my husband said I just want what I ordered. He agreed that the tenders weren't fresh. He took our food and said he'd write it off. We waited another 10 minutes before they brought the sandwiches out. He said he checked them and they were right. But, there were no pickles on them. I was told it'd be another 3 minutes on fresh tenders, he said they were trying to send old ones out again. By the time I got my food I was ready to go so I took it with me. They did apologize & offer us free refills or a milkshake. We said no. They did give us pup cups for our dogs. I just wanted good service & food. As we were leaving, a bunch of high schoolers showed up. The manager came out, he said "I need some fresh air" and he sat down with them. He needs to spend more time with his employees showing them how to serve what's on the menu. We will not be...

Went to Sonic tonight after practice with the family. I was hesitant to go again because of previous experiences of bad food quality.

We placed our order, paid on the screen and waited for 10 minutes only to be told that they ran out of grilled chicken. Really not a big deal, my daughter got a Supersonic breakfast burrito.

We waited another 15 minutes and finally got our food. The burritos were semi cold and they forgot to bring my other daughter's popcorn chicken.

They quickly corrected the mistake with the popcorn chicken, but I was already fed up enough to not even mention the burritos being semi warm.

Now this is what sealed the night for me. Maybe I am wrong seeing as I have had this happen to me twice at the same location, but doesn't the Supersonic burrito come with jalapeños in it?

Not only were the jalapeños missing, but I had 1 burrito with just 1 piece of sausage, another with 2 pieces of sausage and both of them consisted of just tomatoes and onions.

I am just really disappointed in the quality of the food being produced out of the Sonic in Dover.

I do not recommend anyone dine there until they learn how to make things on the menu...
