Shell Liquor & Food Mart — Local services in Du Quoin

The couple that owns this place have always been very polite and seemed genuinely grateful to help ensure I find what I came in after. Used to frequent the place more during the 3yrs we lived in du quoin, but as they offer a few unique items not easily found in this area I have many times referred friends as well as returned myself to buy items here. I was told by many that it's not located in the best neighborhood and warned to be careful near the place but over the past several yrs I haven't had an unpleasant experience or ever even ran into any suspicious characters. If I had I feel like the owners would do all they were able to assist me as it seems to be their nature. Have to spend $5 minimum to use their drive thru and if you use a card instead of cash they charge you $1 fee extra. Owner is rude, and they also buy stolen merchandise from boosters to resell. Oh and they buy stolen iPhones and send them overseas to India where they re sell...

Not much on parking no room the store is just crammed full of stock out on the floor not alot of room for more then 3 people but the owner/cash register attendant whoever works behind the counter...
