This place is just ok. Some of the things they have are nice but they are really overpriced. I bought a number of things here just because I really liked them. The purchases were fine but then I bought a chair from them that was on their Facebook page. I was pricey so I asked the condition before buying it and they said it was in "great shape". When I picked it up from the store it was dirty - actually filthy. Even after I cleaned it it has a smell to it that won't come out and it is really stained under the cushion and had enough crumbs in there to feed a flock of birds. I'm not sure how that is 'great' condition. And, yes, I do understand that used things are not going to be perfect, but this was not 'great' it was 'fair' condition at best. If I had known that, I would not have been willing to pay what I did for it. But, there are no returns, so now I have an expensive, smelly chair.
My advice is to go there and see the stuff before you buy it because you can't rely on their description to be truthful (someone else wrote a Facebook review and mentioned this same issue). Also, make sure you have plenty of time to be in the store. The lady is always running around taking photos for Facebook and the people in the store just have to wait. I understand that they get business that way, but they should do that before or after store hours or when there are no customers around in the store so that the people in the store actually get their attention. All in all, I say buyer beware - high prices, the quality of the items is questionable, and they are more focused on the Facebook pictures than the actual shoppers...
   Read moreBuyer beware! I’ve purchased several items from this store and would have continued to do so until today. On April 6th, I purchased a $20.14 plant cart. I haven’t been able to get to Miriam’s to pick up the plant cart until today May 8th. I work full time and have small children. When I arrived, the woman there attempted to locate my plant cart but couldn’t. She then looked up the item and told me since I didn’t pick it up within 30 days, they resell the item and don’t provide a refund. I was never notified of this policy. It was not listed on the invoice or anywhere for that fact. She then proceeded to tell me they attempted to call me, but it may have come up as a spam call. This is false because they don’t have my phone number. No email was ever sent to me. They did leave a comment on my original post saying that it’s been 3 weeks and to pick up the item. Never did it state that if I didn’t pick up within 30 days, it would be resold without a refund. I’m guessing they really needed my $20.14. I would’ve continued to purchase items from this store and they could’ve made more money from me but after the experience I had there today, forget it. Hopefully this will make others aware of their policy since they aren’t very up front with...
