Nestled inside of Callaway Gardens this beautiful chapel sits on the edge of a small lake with a beautiful creek flowing by. the peacefulness and serenity that you experience when visit this place really makes you want to just sit for a while. The chapel at Callaway Gardens is so peaceful. The beauty of the chapel itself is worth the trip. There is an organist that plays from 1pm. until 3pm. I've also enjoyed the quiet, serene atmosphere many times when the organist is not playing and you are just there alone in nature. This place is a beautiful piece of history. It was pretty quiet when my wife and I were here, and while it was dark inside, that's pretty normal for these older chapels, I feel.
