I recently had a disturbing encounter at a local fruit stand. Despite simply trying to purchase some fresh produce, I was met with discriminatory behavior from the vendor. The woman, seemingly fueled by prejudice, made it clear that she didn’t want to serve me based on my appearance. I was shocked and saddened by her actions.
