Honestly, 95% of everything sold in this store can be bought in Piedras Negras for WAY cheaper. It’s really more of a convenience thing if you wanna make a quick shopping trip.
The service inside is sub-par, some cashiers and employees are nice and bubbly and some have a “just pay and leave” attitude.
The vibes are definitely very traditional MX but you can get that from local small businesses all around our town.
The sweet bread is okay but I would rather recommend you visit an old school small town staple like panadería olivares or something.
Oh and the parking lot is very tight! I’ve had several close calls both defensive and offensive.

Do they just place an expiration sticker they make up over the real expiration date and fool people? They sell you expired food and at higher prices than other places. I tried their cooked food for lunch twice a while back, and the food had no taste or wasn’t cooked right. Now reading other reviews about the meat tasting gross or being expired as well doesn’t surprise me. Wanted to give this place a fair shot, it’s not worth it. For about the first week, many bought meat from this place rather than from their local market stores but since then the euphoria has stopped. The price of tacos and food plates are overly priced. There is great selection of meat but the meat is old and tough as leather and it's always over seasoned. The plates of meat they sell outside the store on Sunday is even worse.
