Read moreWe stopped here after our bus trip to Six Adventures/Great Flags (or something like that 🤔) at 1219AM on a Saturday. The place was deserted and all 30 of us went straight to the Burger King station. There are a number of food stations there like Auntie Annie's and suchlike, maybe an additional 3 or 4. So, this whole troupe of 30 hungry people descend on the 3 guys working at BK. They were shocked and dismayed, but the process there was executed flawlessly. Of course it took a good 45 minutes for everyone to get served, and we had a $20 per person budget, so a LOT of food was demanded, and many "special" orders were made. As far as I could tell, only 3 or 4 mistakes were made, which I think is a fantastic performance. Kudos to those 3 men! I was also pleased and surprised to see all of the pre-made healthy choices, like chicken Caesar salad, stuff like that. Also, the berry/yogurt parfait was EXCELLENT. Also, the place was very clean and bright, even the restrooms. So, stop there if you need a break...
Read moreLooked clean, several food choices. Didn't stay long. Parking Lot su... was awful. Too too small. Cars going every which way. Cars coming in to the lot getting in the way of cars trying to get out of parking spots. Cars pulling out of parking spots blocking other cars pulling out of parking spots, or ending up blocking the aisle because neither one can get out of the way of the other. Electric cars trying to back into charging stations were blocking cars coming past. Once out of the parking area, the path to get out had to cross the path to the gas pumps, with very short sight lines and little room to maneuver.
Two good things They had Nathan hotdogs The run-up to re-enter the turnpike was long enough to get up to speed without having to stomp on the gas.
Next time, I'm getting off the turnpike to get food. That parking lot is one tired driver away from a mass...
