I received a welding degree here a few years ago now. The program was great along with the instructor, however I had some major issues. When courses were completed we were required to intern at as a welder somewhere or weld on our own. The school does not assist in internships but internships were REQUIRED to get the diploma. So a few of my fellow students found a place, took welding tests and some of us were hired. A week into the job this place decides to let us go because it wasn't economically feasible for us to still be employed there. So we were fired and I had already quit my other job to work at this place so I was unemployed. Towards August I got a bill from the school for over $800 for the internship I GOT MYSELF. Also charges for parking and other things we weren't using because our classes were done. I complained and they basically held my diploma hostage until I paid for this "internship" of a week that I got myself. Ridiculous. Contacted them and no one cared. Also with welding, the types of jobs in the area start at around $14 which is laughable. I'm glad I know more about welding but for me it was a total waste of nearly $10k. Be...

Great school and great deal. I look forward to taking some classes here for continuing education. The classrooms are practical with simulated rooms for technical skills for future firemen and women and health care like nurses and occupational therapists. The nicest part is Karen is the receptionist who gives you a tour, gifts, candy, and a warm and kind wealth of knowledge at the front desk when you check in after you walk towards the middle of the building. She is definitely not a “Karen” but she is a really nice human being! Love her! And there is free tutoring and you can sign up online. The facilities are nice and there is a sharps container in the bathroom if you have a need to inject yourself with something for your health. For $137 per credit it’s a great deal...
