*March 2025 Update:
After the below back and forth, in September Andrew emailed me and offered to send me a pair of "lightly used stepps" if I sent him $30 on Paypal.
I responded to his email the same day with my address and sent over the $30 via Paypal. It has been 6 months since then and the Stepps still have not arrived.
Updating review to 1-Star given the communication.
I love the concept of the Stepps and what Wild Edge does. I jumped on board in 2021 and would rate the concept of the Steppes as a 5 but the quality and communication as a one or two.
I have only used Wild Edge Stepps for two seasons (Less than 35 total climbs with them) and 3/10 of the Stepps have broken. The steel on the Stepps has completely bent inwards where they will no longer cam over (and even if they could, I would not want to use it since the metal has been compromised).
All of the Stepps have been taken down after each hunt and stored in a cool/dry place indoors. I fully expected to replace the rope every few years, but was really surprised that 30-40% of my Stepps are already unusable. I attached an image of the compromised Stepp next to a normal one below.
After reaching out to Wild Edge in October 2023, their president Drew was quick to respond and was very apologetic and let me know that they recently brought the manufacturing back in house. He offered to replace my Stepps, but told me to reach back out in a few weeks as he was recovering from an injury.
I waited until deer season was over for Andrew to hopefully be back to 100% and for them to be through their busy season. However, I have sent 4-6 emails since May of 2024 to both Andrew and their support team and have not heard back from either.
I will provide an update below if I hear from the team or have a chance to test...

Go to where the deer are, not to where you hope they will be. I have had success with these steps because it allows me to move to the deer instead of waiting and hoping the come towards my setup. I was able to get a real nice buck in 2020 and again in 2021 with the bow. The 2021 buck is my biggest buck to date.

Sent me the wrong color product since the one I ordered was out of stock without letting me know (was not displayed on the website as out of stock)....strange. Anyway, then sent me a return label that expired in 24 hours. Well, I didn't have access to a printer for a day or so. Emailed them for another label..."Sonny" the sales manager responded a little curtly "I TOLD you it would expire in 24 hours", instead of just sending me another mailer link. Hmmmm, this was also after waiting about 3 days for a response of any kind. Not mad, and the products are great, but if you don't like your job in sales then find another one. Still waiting on my mailer...
