Beach is tiny. Do not waste your time going to this beach! East Haven does not want non East Haven residents visiting their beach. $35 to park in the parking lot. No street parking, permit only parking on the street for miles. $100 fine if you’re caught parking there without a permit. Beach is not worth the trouble. Go a little further down the shore to bigger and better beaches with less expensive parking in more...

This beach has a weird vibe like walking on eggshells vibe I will not be coming back there is no service on the beach you can’t drink beer The parking is only free if you live in east haven they check your id at the gate. Other than that it was weird. Normally you see a seagull or 2...

It says public beach but I think they are discouraging non- residents to come there (there were no parking spots available for non-residents!). We didn’t go to the beach due to non-availability of parking spots rather went to lobster shack and enjoyed the beach...
