The Backyard Showcase — Local services in East Lampeter Township

We had seen pavilions last year when we were in Lancaster. The Backyard Showcase had several on display, so we stopped there to inquire about sizes and pricing. Adrian was very helpful. For years we had wanted to have a pavilion in our backyard so that we could provide shelter from the sun for ourselves, our family and our friends. We have had a pool for many years and even though we had an umbrella over our table and a sun setter over our other table, we didn't have enough shade. In March we ordered our pavilion, but it took a long time to find a company we liked to remove the concrete that was around our pool and the pavers we had installed ourselves many years ago. Our pavilion was ready months ago, but the renovation of our backyard wasn't started until July 31st. It was a big project so consequently it took over 15 days to complete. Last Wednesday, a terrific crew of four men pulled up in front of our house at 7 am to install our very beautiful pavilion. They had everything that they needed to complete the job on a very long flatbed truck that they had driven from Lancaster, Pa to Rahway, NJ. Once they unwrapped everything, they began bringing everything to our back yard, which is approximately 150 yards away. They set up their tools and got to work. They were very professional, polite, and hard working. We were amazed that they were able to assemble our amazing 16 ft. by 20 ft. pavilion in a little more than 7 hours. They made sure that they cleaned up any debris that they had, packed up their tools and set off for Lancaster around 2:20 pm. The next day our paving company returned and cut the pavers that go under the pavilion's posts. Everyone who has seen our finished project admires it. I researched many vendors for our pavilion needs. Backyard Showcase is the one that came through in our selection process. The response time to our phone calls and emails was amazing. Michael Zook arranged for us to meet and listened attentively to our requirements for our 12' x 14' vinyl pavilion while making excellent suggestions keeping in mind our budget. I must say that all interactions between Michael Zook, installation and accounting managers, was dealt in a very professional and courteous manner. The outcome of our discussions resulted in a clear, easy to understand, detailed invoice that broke down all associated costs regarding the construction of our pavilion. Amazingly, delivery and installation was performed within the promised time frame. Backyard Showcase installers were on par with providing quality work and professionalism as they paid special attention to details throughout the entire installation process. What impressed me the most was the quick response time and quick action that Backyard Showcase took to solve an unforeseen wiring problem. Jonathan arranged for someone to come over to fix the problem immediately after my phone call. In my mind, the turn around time and handling to problems is an important aspect of a vendor's selection. Obviously the dedication and commitment Backyard Showcase has demonstrated to its customer is impeccable. In reviewing Pavilion options I came across the Backyard Showcase online. Because it was a big decision to pick the right one for us as it relates to quality and price, I called and spoke with Mervin who was very helpful and patient with all of my questions. We decided to take a ride to Pennsylvania, a trip we've made numerous times in the past to enjoy the local establishments. At the location we met with Jonathan who was very helpful and showed us the Pavilion we were interested in on which was on display.

Immediately my wife and I knew we would go with their Pavilion as the quality of the build and material was exactly what we were looking for. In retrospect it was something I we could have purchased without seeing it in person.

Once ordered Mervin worked with us on a delivery date, which was shorter than they first advised us of. He made it happen because we had an event in our backyard and wanted it up before hand.

As far as the delivery and set up, everything was perfect, the set up team were all very professional and their customer service was impeccable. One of the install Nathan was super nice and made sure everything was good to my satisfaction before they left.

The Pavilion is absolutely beautiful. My wife and I are so glad that we went with The Backyard showcase. We also purchased a swing from them that looks awesome! 5* rating all across
