Waffle House — Restaurant in East Lampeter Township

DOESN'T DESERVE A SINGLE STAR!! This used to b our favorite breakfast to go place. NOT NO MORE! Today was THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVERRRR! Never coming back here no more. First they served us coffee, one mug has stuck on egg pieces n old stains. Told the waitress n she replaced it. Ordered 2 pork chop breakfast meal. Came out with only 1 chop on each plate m was told the other 2 will b coming. My husband finished his breakfast n sat there waiting for his chop. I ate half, saving half of my meal for the other chop that was told is coming. She later came back with a bill saying her manager charged us for regular breakfast meal instead of the chop breakfast meal cause we had to wait for the other 2 chops that was coming. Fine....we waited n waited. She was up there standing around talking n joking with other co workers never said anything about the chops (that was supposedly coming) so by this point, my breakfast was getting cold i was tired n annoyed I didn't want it anymore. I personally think it was never even cooking. Went to pay n told the girl at the register about the whole thing n she asked our waitress about it n she said "oh yea, it's coming" at this point after waiting 30min for the 2 chops....I told her I aint want it no more n this is it. We aint coming back. So sad that a place like this used to b fast n on top of everything, it's going down hill. People just don't seem to care...

Absolutely terrible. I wanna preface this with the fact that we went during 2nd shift and usually I don't have an issue when we go during 3rd shift. Everything was dirty but it's waffle house so you expect dirty silverware and not the cleanest of tables. Our waitress, Rain, kept having us repeat our orders because she didn't understand what my dad meant by sunny side up eggs or what I meant by hashbrowns all the way (that one could be on me because apparently it's not a menu option anymore, but whenever I go there at 3 am they know what I mean). While we're waiting for our food our server comes up and asks us to pay before we've even gotten our food, which is a huge red flag in my opinion, but it was because 2nd shift was ending soon. Whole time were there were the only customers. There's two other people there but they're not customers they're just there to talk to our already distracted server. Food comes out. My dad got the wrong eggs, my mom's bacon deluxe burger just has a burger patty and cheese, my dad still hasn't gotten his drink, both of their hashbrowns are plain despite ordering stuff on them, and to top it all off everything is cold. Won't be going there again anytime soon and definitely not...

Food was Ok ! To much butter on eggs over easy and watching the cooks some food like sausage came into contact with the bottom of other plates I understand stand they do this with multiple orders but this should be done by rotation putting sausage down flipped the more sausage put down Meat of any kind should never come into contact with the bottom of any surface doesn't matter if it's clean or not ! As far as servers and cooks seemed like there was more chit chatting then working Store was filthy and One employee was trying to fix a waffle iron with a fork instead of maybe 🤔 looking for a screw Driver ! Now I've worked in the food industry and I'm sorry 😔 if My place of business where I worked was that discusting and an inspector came in or even if I was the inspector I would of shut this place down in a heartbeat It was filthy ! It wasn't that busy and one person could of been Cleaning while the rest took care of any customers came in !
