Sal is the MAN!!! I cannot begin to express how grateful we are to have had the pleasure of working with Sal, JR, and the rest of the After Hours team. We first met Sal last year when he emceed at my cousin’s wedding and we couldn’t stop raving about how incredible the music had been, so when it was time to do our own wedding planning, finding a DJ was a no brainer. Not only is Sal incredibly knowledgeable about the ins and outs of all facets of the wedding scene, he worked tirelessly to coordinate with our other vendors to make sure our vision truly came to life. When the planning process started, Sal met with us and shared a series of song lists with links as well as a planning document to help us make sure that every detail (not just the music!) was taken care of. Our first dance song was not easily available, but Sal didn’t even bat and eyelash when we told him we were worried about finding a high-quality version. He just made it happen! A few days before the wedding, Sal sent out an itinerary to our venue coordinator, our officiant, and our photographer so that everyone was on the same page. On the day of our wedding, Sal and JR showed up early to the venue to account for eager attendees and made sure that everything was set up so that the very first guest to arrive was greeted with music. They even recorded the ceremony from start to finish and got videos of the speeches and first dances which they shared during the reception on Facebook (with prior permission from us!!) so that family and friends who were not able to make the trip to our wedding were still able to share the day with us. On top of that, Sal gave us a bracelet with a USB at the end of the night that has all of the videos and pictures they took throughout the night as a gift. Sal also had everyone laughing during a hilarious game he created to give away our centerpieces. All this, and I haven’t even mentioned the music at the wedding!! Sal and JR did an amazing job reading our crowd and mixing in the perfect combination of our requested songs along with a variety of songs that we didn’t even think to ask for! They were both incredibly friendly, hardworking, and so easy to work with and we couldn’t have made a better decision than going with After...

Mike Moscato throws a banger! Mike was the DJ and host of our wedding in June 2023 at Wickham Park and we couldn’t have been happier with the service. Mike was attentive to our needs beyond just a song list, walking us through the timeline of our wedding and providing us with a solid vision of how the night would go. With years in the business and DJing many weddings at Wickham Park throughout the year, he is able to make the night flow seamlessly from start to finish. Working with him was the easiest part of our planning process and we would pick Mike again if we did it over.

We met with Mike twice in the planning process – one to meet him and one to set the wheels in motion. He is communicative through the process and really helps you to organize your thoughts, while offering an honest opinion if something will work really well or fall flat. We had intended to get married outside, but in true romcom fashion, it started raining 15 minutes before the ceremony. Mike paid attention to the forecast and gave us options, like trying to squeeze the ceremony in before the rain (electronics don’t work well wet) or moving the ceremony to our backup plan inside. As a result, we used our backup plan and only the people we told knew otherwise. Mike’s expertise made our wedding day effortless and we still have guests coming up to us and raving about how much fun they had because of him.

Cathy Petro was the officiant for our wedding and we were excited to work with her. Cathy is knowledgeable about many different wedding ceremonies. We booked her with Mike Moscato (DJ) and the two of them made the process effortless. She is also respectful of different religious backgrounds and cultural preferences. Mike sent along all of the information needed to put together a ceremony and Cathy was attentive to detail when it came to executing the ceremony.

I can't even begin to explain how amazing After Hours is. From the moment we met Sal, we could tell he really knew what he was doing, and he would take care of everything. We had met with another DJ beforehand who was less expensive, but after meeting Sal, you could instantly tell he was worth every penny and more. He advised us on what we should do, and what ideas we had that wouldn't really work. Over the year of planning, he was always quick to respond to questions and he was always willing to help us out. One of the biggest selling points for us too was that you could record a voice over for your parent dances, to be incorporated into your song. Then you get to keep that song forever when he sends it to you in a clip. My father cried because he was so surprised and my mother in law wasn't expecting it either. It's truly a really meaningful experience. He had our whole timeline and information down to the last detail and he executed it perfectly. Our guests loved him and Nathalie! The centerpiece game he played was so lively he was even dancing between the tables. I wish they had recorded that! Then we didn't want to have our guests clinking glasses all night for us to kiss so he recommended a fun little game. Instead of us kissing, we would give him a list of couples at the wedding, and he would call randomly on different ones to stand up and kiss instead. Our guests loved it so much they kept clinking their glasses just so they could see who he would call out next. Your day revolves around having a good time. The biggest part of this is the music and your DJ. Sal nailed this. Our guests still rave about how great the music was, how entertaining our DJ was, and how much fun they had.
