Wonderful Gem of a Breakfast Spot a Bit off the Beaten Path.

A friend and I stopped off at this place for breakfast in the midst of a long Sunday morning bike ride. What an oasis for such an event.

The food and service were excellent. Scrambled eggs cooked just tender perfect with some nicely done bacon; not soggy and not too crisp. The hash browns were also done very well, not greasy, and tasty. My biking buddy had a pancake stack which he described as some of the best he has had on our journeys, and also said the sausage links were very good. The coffee was spot on.

I will certainly return whether on a bike ride and otherwise. And I must mention again, that the service was so very attentive and caring.

Prices are quite reasonable and I highly recommend if you are anywhere near East Windsor, CT. and the I-91 corridor. Certainly worth a 5-10 minute detour in...

We had tried this place when it first opened, but haven't been here in awhile..... Wonderful food the chef does an excellent job with flavor! Prices are so reasonable. Coffee was great and smooth. As a local place this is a great choice for breakfast and doesn't break the bank! We went on a Friday and though busy we were greeted with a smile. There was only one waitress and helper so service was a little slow understandably. I ordered eggs over easy(cooked perfect), rye toast (excellent, seeded ,not dry) hash browns (flavorful & delicious) and a side of biscuit and gravy. Best I've had in a long time (not the southern gravy, but just as good if not better). Husband had the pancakes (huge and delicious) and a sausage, egg cheese on hard roll excellent, hot and fresh. We were very hopeful for a great experience but we're disappointed. Service was unfriendly, our server never even greeted us or said good morning. Food was subpar at best. My mom asked for crispy bacon so they microwaved it to a burnt crisp. Server never came back for coffee refills or to check on us. I witnessed our server go to the refrigerator to get lemons. She took her dirty, bare hands and stuck them into the lemon storage container. She grabbed a bunch of cut lemons, put them into a cup, wiped her nose with said hand and shut the fridge.
