Craftec Hobbies — Local services in East Windsor

I’ve been coming here, since before they moved from their old location in Enfield, which must have been over thirty years ago. I love this store! They have so many great items for plastic modelers! There are not many places like this, around these days, and this place is truly a step back in time, in a totally good way! Even if you can find a big box craft store that still caries models, I guarantee they won’t have anything remotely close to the selection that this store has! Definitely...

My son and I were in the Hartford area from NYC and stopped in at Craftec Hobbies on Saturday 7/27/24. They have really interesting vintage kits at great prices and the manager (sorry, forgot to catch your name!) was knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, and even willing to negotiate a bit on some kit prices. Clearly just going through the motions now. Only open two days a week, and sometimes only one - it appears to change based on a whim. Limited paint lines - an enamel line which is out of business and Tamiya which is very limited. Very few water based acrylics or lacquers that people are actually using. If they didn’t carry Eduard models I’d have no reason...
