Top notch work. I own a 2009 328i that had an odd defect on the camshaft lobes in the engine, with only 77k miles on it. I'm a car enthusiast and DIY mechanic. I tinker with engines and have rebuilt a few in other vehicles. I had a general idea of what needed to be done, but these days with my work schedule I have zero time, and knew if I tackled the job myself the car would be apart for months in my garage. Being a bit of a perfectionist who has had to fix the work of other "shops" on my family's vehicles in the past, I was a bit hesitant bringing my car somewhere, but a friend re-assured me these guys knew their stuff. It's not often you come across a shop, or any business for that matter, where the owner himself will call you on the phone and explain what the deal is. Foad and his team are extremely knowledgeable, and provided excellent communication on the status of my car's repair, especially considering the level of complexity involved with ordering parts from Germany in the middle of a pandemic. The quality of the repair and attention to detail is unmatched, and I've been driving the car for a few months now 100 miles a day with zero issues. These guys understand car enthusiasts, are upfront and honest, and do great work. They will be the only ones I let touch my car (besides me) in the future. I've attached a pic of my car from last year's trip to Tail of the Dragon.

Late spring I bought a '07 Z4M Roadster. Wanting to go somewhere it would be properly taken care of,my first thought was of course a local dealer. However,on the advise of my son-in-law I brought it to Munich Motorsports instead and what a great decision that turned out to be. From the initial consultation with Foad where we discussed the intended use to the baseline service and thorough inspection to make sure I didn't miss anything in my pre-buy,everything was documented with photos and written reports so we all had a clear understanding of what was going on. This is a level of professionalism and attention to detail that is so often missing in today's profit driven repair industry. These guys are enthusiasts and Foad and his people have found a way to balance it all out. They will do any job that you want, from installing wheels and tires to doing vanity projects, but they'll also talk "cost vs benefit" if you stray too far from your stated use. This is the type of service that creates lifetime clients.I know I certainly am

I've been going here since 2007 (when they were still NEO Autos). I've been to a bunch of BMW service shops in CT but was never impressed by them or their staff. The staff at Munich really does go above and beyond for their customers. They started off with one small garage bay in the same location they're currently in. They could fit two-three cars and had a 2-3 man team. Now they can fit probably 8-10 cars and have multiple mechanics to help serve us better.

I want to really thank Aaron for his help over the years. Awesome guy, super honest, and was willing to show me exactly what was wrong with my vehicle, and also explain how it might have gone wrong and how to prevent it. Never did he once up-sell me to perform other upgrades or to replace certain wear and tear items. How many shops do you know of that wouldn't want to make an extra $300-1500?

They're also really into racing. If you need a PROPER alignment, suspension upgrades, anything to make your car perform and handle better this is the shop to go too! I was even lucky enough to meet them at LimeRock Race Track and Aaron took me for a ride in their E36 M3 track car. Never have I had an experience like that!

They also have loaner cars available if you are getting big work done (i.e. not available for oil changes or basic repairs). The cars may be a little older (e46 and E36) but just driving them feels like they're brand new. I've even offered to buy the E46 325i because it still feels so tight and responsive even with almost 200k on the odometer.

Oh, and the shop now is really big. It's exciting for me to see how they're growing because I've been going there so long. Keep up the...

I have been going to Munich Motorsports for about 6 years now and they are the best for all things Bimmer. From the friendly, unassuming, and race-tested leadership of the owner Foad Ravazi who is an award winning driver, to their calm and collected service writer Liam, to the practical-minded, consummate problem solving leader of the tech crew Eric, the team at Munich stands at the top of the podium for serving both race cars and daily drivers. They helped turn my 2015 640 MSport Gran Coupe into a show stopper through a series of stage 1 and 2 tunes, while keeping me out of trouble with well-timed and thorough inspections and services. These guys deliver a lot of bang for the buck with shop rates and OEM parts pricing that beats all the area completion, especially the dealers who charge almost twice as much; AND they’re better techs. Now, they’re transforming my 2020 M850i coupe into the super car of my dreams. They just installed a Carbahn Stage 1 tune (they’re an authorized CarBahn shop) which resulted in a breathtaking 700+ HP and torque (from the stock 523 HP). I still can’t get the smile off my face. Then, they made it look that fast by working with Vertini Wheels to spec special wheels and tires, and by lowering the car to give it a perfect, but not curb scraping, stance; topped off w sinister-looking yellow motor sport DRLs (check out the pics on their site).

I could go on and on about my experiences at Munich, but suffice it to say, if you have a Bimmer and want to get the most out of it without breaking the bank, head over to Munich Motorsports. They’re the best, then there’s the...

What a great group of guys! I gave them a call to see if they would be available for an alignment on my 2010 RX8. Now sure, they are a BMW specialty shop, but I read such positive reviews that I just had to ask. Scheduled my appointment and the excitement built up. Come the appointment day, I pulled in and was welcomed and given a quick rundown of everything that they planned on doing. They let me know well beforehand that, although they primarily work on german performance, they would for sure take care of my request. Now for anyone who has dealt with the RX8, they will know that the alignment and track tuning is almost completely opposite of what would be done to a BMW. They assured me that they would work with me throughout the process, and would let me know before any and every change and every charge. I came in with my own alignment specs for autocross, and was soon pulled into the bay to discuss the alignment while they worked on the car. I was given tips on my alignment, tweaks, and recommendations. Not only was the alignment done with digital equipment as opposed to the usual archaic equipment you see in your local shops, but it was done with weight in the driver seat to simulate the characteristics of me in the car.... you would be hard pressed to find a shop around here that takes alignments that seriously. After all was said and done, we had some friendly conversation about cars, racing, and was even invited to a track day. Great group of guys, CLEAN shop, and responsible...
