Every time I try to use my WIC they charge me cash for WIC covered items. I use the app every time to make sure I have the right items. When I point it out they say it's their system and say they can't do anything to change it. They had to void the whole transaction, so I could get the not WIC covered items I wanted. I couldn't use my benefits. They have had the same WIC issues for over a month, but make no note of it in the store ro prepare customers. The cashier call the manager over and he said he couldn't do anything about it either. He said it was like the 4 time in a week. The has been called every time and the manager can't help fix it. Read moreI have been shopping at this market for ....over four decades. Back in the beginning there were two grocery stores in town. My family always shopped at the other one...it was closer to our house. I loved it when we did shop here though. Because they had this really hot guy...worked in the meat dept? I had such a crush on that dude. Come on I was a teenage girl.
Now as an adult, I shop in town for most everything. However, I manage to stop in everytime we are in Eatonville... Which is a lot in the summer. They have deli food. They have cold drinks. And they still have that small town feeling.
Anyone heading out to the lakes...or camping can find what they need here.
I wonder whatever happened to that young meat market...
