My husband wears a size 16 work boot. He didn't trust the internet to work with him. So we went in and asked for a size 16 wide boot. The pair she found was pricey...close to $250. We said sure and placed the order. They'll be here in 3 weeks. I'll call. No problem. 4-5 weeks later no call, so we stopped by. The very same cashier turned her back on us when we arrived. Whether it was deliberate or not, I don't know. My husband was fuming at this point. We spoke to someone else who said the order was delayed. How long? Two weeks. We ordered them 4-5 weeks ago. We were told they'd be here by then. So you're saying another week. No you ordered them two weeks ago. We ordered them the Saturday before Father's Day. I wanted to surprise my husband with the gift which still wasn't there in late July. We waited another two weeks and called the manager who gave us the same story...production delays. We cancelled the order. Don't order anything off from them. Your order will take forever and a day to arrive. The boots I ordered from Amazon arrived days...

I have been to this store 4 times since i moved here last september. Everytime i have been greated kindly by the workers at the front desk.. i have purchased 50 lb bags of top soil and fertiler each visit. I have a prosthetic leg so it's very easy to see I'm disabled. Although I'm still very capable of loading the car myself they have offered to have somebody come load it for me every time. They're very respectful about it. They don't force it upon me when I say that I'm okay. It does feel nice to know that if I weren't able to load the car myself I would have no problem getting assistance. This store has excellent quality items, ranging from Melissa and Doug toys to yard and house supplies to clothing. Some prices can be a bit expensive for items like speciality candles and kids clothing, but overall, this is a great store to stop at. When kids come, they will get a 25 cent token, good on the next shopping trip. Also, be sure to sign up for rewards so you can save extra money. Goodes is not open on Sunday and does close earlier than other stores. However, the bathrooms are very clean and great for taking small children to.
