This is worth the trip. If you want good quality silver jewelry, turquoise, pottery, Indian rugs, and a lot more, this is the place to go. There isi something for everyone at very fair prices. I had someone recommend Henderson's to me while I was in Taos, and so glad I checked it out. I got a beautiful inlaid silver bracelet and about 8 pairs of earrings to give as gifts for all the birthdays I have coming up and it cost less than if I went to a department store with much better quality. It is a very old, very authentic building and they do not over-light the interior which means there won't be clues from the road that they are/are not open.
If you are coming from Santa Fe it is only another 10-15 minute drive past Madrid. (Note: Madrid, NM is pronounced MA-drid and the ma...

The guy who runs it has had the store in his family for generations. Great stop and definitely recommend if you're driving the...
