My husband and I stopped at the Ysleta Mission on our incredible journey back to west Texas to view firsthand the many places and things that are associated with my husband's family. As a matter of fact, he was born in Yselta 74 years ago. We were absolutely in awe of the Mission church and the excellent condition it is in still. You can feel the love and pride shown towards this gorgeous church, enabling it to continue it's legacy and let a new generation experience the many things it has to offer. Afterwards we decided to go into the gift shop. Once inside, we realized we made the right decision. We were amazed by the many wonderful things it contained, but more importantly we were taken aback by the very friendly and informative lady that managed the gift shop. She was the final crowning moment that put this whole adventure together. On top of that, we found out that my husband and her may be related. Located in the heart of Ysleta right next to the historic Ysleta Mission is the little gem that is The Ysleta Mission Gift Shop & it is my go to place! They NEVER disappoint!! Today I had the pleasure of taking my Daughter for the 1st time & She ABSOLUTELY LOVED it! I told Her they have a mix of holy & humor & that’s exactly what we found!!! It might be small & cozy but they carry such beautiful pieces & an array of items! I will have to make another trip for my Abuelita coffee candle mugs that remind me so much of my Grama & Mama ♥️ The young man that attended us was bright, cheerful & VERY knowledgeable in the items they carry!
