I bought a beautiful Cabrio washer and dryer set from Red Dirt Pawn, Chris actually let me put it on layaway. Even above that.. I missed my payment one month and he was nice enough to put the money back on the washer so I wouldn't lose it. I asked Chris if it was a working washer and dryer. He told me yes it was practically new. On October 1st when I went to pick up my washer and dryer I asked Chris if he was sure it was a working washer and dryer, he told me again yes not to worry it was a good washer and dryer. I work in oil and gas field, For a pressure pumping company. Super long days and super long hours. When I bought the washer and dryer I didn't have anyone to help me take my old one out or put this one in, so I put it in the garage. My first time off was October 20th. I came home that night, we took the old washer and dryer out and set up my new set. Turned the washer on and started a load. HA! The washer doesn't work!! I was so mad but I waited until Monday and called Red Dirt Pawn.Chris promised me it was a working washer and dryer I knew he would fix it. I called Monday morning October 22nd to talk to Chris. He was really busy and said he call me back later in the day.when I didn't hear from him all day I called back at 5. I was told he had only come in a couple hours and he left much earlier.I was upset but asked them to please leave a message for him to call me.this morning 10/22 I waited until 9:30 to call him. He picked up the phone, I reminded him who I was and explain about the washer again. There was a long pause on the other end, and he asked exactly what I wanted him to do. I told him you guaranteed me this washer worked and it doesn't. I paid right at $800 for a working set, I didn't get one. He told me that it was probably just a sensor or something.I realize it could be that but I bought a working set, he told me that there was no way to test the washers at the pawn shop. (So he obviously lied to me from the beginning) but other than that, if I'd come back within the first day or two he might have done something about it. But I've had it for 20 days, and he wasn't going to do anything. I reminded him that I paid $800 for it. He told me that I got a wonderful deal, 1/3 or 1/4 of the new price. I was really upset and hung up the phone. Now I realize I got a good deal on this washer and dryer, but it was half price, for a working washer and dryer.. from a pawn shop. Had I known it didn't work I would have paid much less for a working washer and dryer, granted I wouldn't have gotten a Cabrio.. but for $800 I would have a working washer and dryer. I feel like he should never have told me it was a working washer and dryer if he had no way to test it. I totally feel like he screwed me over. I am so mad and disappointed. I will never for any reason go to this place again, or any affiliated shop. Just warning you...
Read moreThey had an item on shelf that was completely trashed and used selling for $99 but I bring the exact same item except literally brand new and they won't take it because it won't sell. Lower the price on the garbage then. Maybe.. learn ratios. Maybe get your money up so you don't gotta scam people. Also I sold a silver bracelet with diamonds a while back. They'd only take spot for the the bracelet. I had a few pieces sold with it. Came out to about under an ounce. Sold for $40. The main bracelet being $19. I come in a few weeks later. They're selling the bracelet for $79. So did they scam me or are they scamming you? Either way it's wrong and poor business. Bad business.
Edit: if you want to know what items. go In the jewelry counter and look at what says $79 then go look at your destroyed dirt bike boots for $99 and compare those boots to the image that the owner had of them. I don't want to bring them here. you said it wont sell. the issue is the condition that the others are in and they're basically $100 for garbage. lower the prices on the trash. mine were no where near the condition of your items and your like "no" but the biggest issue is selling my silver jewelry for almost nothing just to see y'all spike the price to $79 when reselling. that's literally for the bracelet, which I was offered $19. so no this review...
