This is s very nice, well appointed, community center that also caters to seniors.
There are many ongoing events just about everyday (a bit slower due to the pandemic).
My wife and I go there for the drop-in Pickleball Tues and Thurs 12 noon until 2:30pm. The have a beautiful gym with a hard rubber floor well lined for Pickleball and can set up as many as 6 nets. The cost is $2.50 per person (you can also use the track lanes for walking and they are also set-up for indoor basketball).
On Fridays from 12 noon to 2:30pm, the have beginner introduction to Pickleball - $2.50 pp and includes the use of the facility's rackets/paddles.
The facility has restrooms, showers, and lockers. The only food and drink that are available are in the vending machines (there is a Highs gas station/Mini Mart less than a quarter mile North of the facility if you need a little more substantial food and drink).
My wife and I came here for the beginner lesson and have been playing at least 1 day a week for the last 2 months. Everyone here has been friendly and...
Read moreGreat clean, friendly place to be in! Spacious layout includes an indoor fitness gym, an indoor basketball court which is used for all sorts of other sports as well. The gym has cardio, weight machines, and free weights with televisions and music playing (also has a service table for coffee/tea, water, etc).
There is a Massage Therapist/Relexologist there with VERY reasonable rates and gives a relaxing and effective massage! Acupuncturists and physical therapists to follow shortly per scuttlebutt heard. Classrooms for rent for activities and DIY seminars. Discounts for seniors on almost everything offered there.
Always have something going on for all ages, especially around a holiday. Fun yet relaxing place to be, especially with a County Library next door and police satellite office and fire department there as well....

Their drive and motivation is somewhere around a 1/5. There’s no shortage of staff on weekends and evenings but many of them sit on their phones while restrooms need tending, volleyball and basketball game visitors and athletes run around the halls and rooms that we paid memberships for, and how in the world is a simple stereo still not fixed in the...
