Last week my uncle called to inquire about a lift recliner. He was having a hard time getting out of his standard recliner. I do want to preference that my uncle is a very direct man and speaks to the point. Yes sometimes he comes over being rude but he just wants to cut to the chase and get what he wants done. The getleman and my uncle were talking about recliners and getting the price of the recliners. My uncle was about to order this 800.00 recliner before he was able to the getleman that my uncle was talking to said "I don't like your attitude" and hung up the phone. You hung up on a man over a misunderstanding. He wasn't being rude he was just being to the point. If he were yelling and belittling you then yes. This man had stage 4 cancer. He is now gone. He needed a recliner so he could get himself up out of a chair and because you didn't like his attitude he never got that chair. He had about 70 people at his funeral today. We talked about this very incident about how we need to have compassion and understanding for others because you don't know what someone is going through. I was interested in buying a new living room set. I walked in and the owner was sitting at a desk in the middle of the furniture area. He looked at me in a very unfriendly expression like I was being an inconvenience and continued to work on his books as I walked around looking. He never asked if I needed help or even greeted me.
