The Green Chili — Restaurant in Eldon

We gave this place a try for dinner, my husband didn't want to say anything as he didn't want to be rude. I am usually the one that doesn't want to say anything or leave a review, but I can't get past the fact that I felt bad watching him try and eat some sliced roast beef and chicken with what amounted to be maybe 2 mini bell peppers chopped up that was supposed to be steak and chicken fajitas, with none of the fajita accoutrements. He only ate the chicken and beans to be polite. I had the chicken enchiladas, which were mediocre and the strangest enchiladas I've had, but compared to how his plate looked it mine was likely 100% better. I wouldn't have even tried to eat his plate of food it looked very unappealing and was absolutely not as pictured in the menu online. Not to mention I would expect at a sit down restaraunt to get a glass of ice with my drink not just the can of soda. Very strange experience to say the least. Definitely not worth...

Let me say i support local small businesses any chance i get my boyfriend was in there today for lunch and his bill was almost $30 for 1 enchilada and a so called chicken bowl thing and he had to pay extra for the chips and salsa the food had no flavor my boyfriend was not able to eat any of his food and when i went back for a refund the owner only refund $8 i have had authentic mexican food from Mexico to all over the US and i hate to ever leave a bad review but the food was not good the restaurant decor was also as bland as the food im sorry but Americanized Mexican is not the way to go authentic traditional grandmas receipes please. Side note the owner and staff were very courteous and kind i was just expecting more from all the good reviews the place was given to each...

This place serves the best quality food in Eldon. The red enchiladas are the best I've ever tasted! My husband was also extremely impressed by the giant burrito he had. This little "hole in the wall" southwestern place reminded me so much of when I lived in El Paso, TX, and the food was top-notch. They also have gluten free, dairy free, and pork free...
