So I’ve Been a shopping Here Since I Moved To Eldridge, It’s Very Convenient For Me And My Family But This One Day Bret The Store Manager Was Very RUDE!!!!!! I Just Had Purchased A Puppy As An Emotional Support Animal For My Bad Anxiety. And On My Way Home I Figured I’ll Stop And Get Puppy Treats She Was So Very Tiny Only 2 Months Old “A Little Yorkie” It Is The Winter Time So I Put Her Little Self In My Coat Because I Didnt Wanna leave Her In The Car All You Seen Was Her Little Head Poking Out The Top Of My Coat.. I Go In, Get Exactly What i Wanted Usually I Pick Up At Least 20 More Things Just Because I Love Dollar General And Im always Buying Things I Don’t Need Right Away, But This Day it Was Just Puppy Treats. As im Walking To The Register Almost entering The Second Asile To Check Out Bret Says “HEY YOU CAN’T HAVE ANIMALS IN HERE !!! I Said Ok Sir I’m Getting Treats And I’ll be On My Way Out, He Followed Me -Toe To Heel- To The Front Of The Store To Make Sure I Was Leaving. i Said You Don’t Have To Follow Me I’m “NOT” Gonna Let Her Run Around The Store I’m Purchasing My Things And Then I’m gonna Leave, And He Continued To Yell Asking Me To Just Leave Causing A Huge Scene In Front Of 4 Other Customers That Were In Front Of Me I Laid My Items Down And Said I Will Not Shop Here Anymore Because You Are VERY RUDE He Then Cursed At Me i Began To Record And The Other Guy That Works There Was Trying To Calm Him Down Calling Him To Come To The Room Near The Register And He Wouldn’t .. I Couldn’t Believe He Had Gotten That Upset, As If i Had Let Her Poop All Over The Floor.. This Was A Very Bad Experience For me i Felt So Embarrassed, Never Had This Happened To Me My Whole Entire Life.. He Needs to Have More Respect For People That Puts Money...

Today my daughter walked in this store to buy items needed like any other paying Customer, and as soon as she walked through the door, the employee screamed, no more teens in the store. You need to leave! My daughter, not knowing that she was talking to her, walked to where she was trying to buy the items and the lady, hunted her down and screamed and yelled at her that she needs to get out of the store that they’re not allowing teens in the store my daughter is almost 18 and was not causing any problems just trying to buy things that she needed and when she asked to speak to the manager because she didn’t like the way she was spoken to by this employee the lady said I am the manager and told her to get out of the store that she was kicked out for doing absolutely nothing wrong. Terrible customer service, very rude and they will not be getting...

I love coming here to grab something quick. It's easy access, I love all the employees here, most of the new ones don't know me as well but me and my brother both love the owners and wish them the best. I have had a bit of trouble in the location like being accused of stealing ( I didn't please don't steal ). It was okay i didn't mind just a little funny! I also asked if they had any employment opportunities as they had signs up and they told me no! Not a few weeks later had new employees I had never seen. However, over all I love this business they run it...
