It's been a while I havent taken Metra, probably 7 years ago before I was able to drive. I forgot how things go and the conductor kindly pointed me to go more upfront. I saw a few opened doors, but saw nobody there, so I thought it's a wrong train. I got out and keep walking straight to the front, but the train slowly moving. I was so scared to miss the train because the next one coming up in 2 hours. The train moves very slow and the door in front of me opened suddenly. The conductor was waiting for me to get in. I appreciate it so much because otherwise I have to cancel my plan and wait for 2 hours for the next train. I had used this line to go to and from the city without an issue. I was on the last train home and fell asleep. I missed my stop , and in a furry raced out of the train. My wallet must have slipped out of my pants, and was left on the train. I called their lost and found and one of the staff on the train had recovered and taken it to Union station. While I think the parking surface could be improved the race to get out of the parking lot isn't Metra's fault and happens at pretty much ever metra parking lot during rush hours and to be honest not sure why. If you sit in you car for a couple of minutes and then leave it's smooth sailing.
