Mecca grocery — Local services in Elgin

The employees park their cars in front of the store and make it difficult for us to buy groceries because we have to park farther away. Store employees should not be parking in the front spaces. They should have consideration for the customer and leave the close parking spaces open for the customer because my wife is very pregnant. Very rude of the store. I have included of the photo of the employees car that selfishly parks in the close parking spaces that is meant for the customers. This store doesn't care that we have to park further away and carry our groceries to the car. There is no need for the employees to take the close parking spaces except that they are selfish and rude. Also the meat here is bad and smells rotten. Do yourself a favor and don't shop here because they don't care if you get sick from spoiled meat. I came here again and I see the employees are still parking in thr up close spaces meant for the customer. I don't know why they don't park away from the building and let the customers take the close up spaces. The are very selfish. There is no reason for them to park close because they are lazy and rude. I wis this store would move away or go out of business because they ruined the area. We found bugs in our rice and other dried products. Don't shop here unless you like soured meat and cockroaches...

I've been anxiously waiting for Mecca Grocery to open up to avoid driving to get my International fix. I was greet by one of the owners, Abaid. He was a wonderful man who seemed to have a passion to serve his community. Since they recently opened, he is willing to take requests on what to stock. Everyone tell him so he knows what to order. I’ve bought ground beef from this place three or four times, and unfortunately had a bad experience. I specifically asked for thick ground beef, but they always give me very thin mince.
