Dairy Queen (Treat) — Restaurant in South Elgin

I ordered an ice cream cake for my daughter's birthday today and it was the best ever! I normally order from the St. Charles DQ but since I live in South Elgin now I figured I should give this location a try. I'm so glad I did!! I called the day before I needed it and had special requests on frosting/design. They were so nice and accommodating and sounded willing to go above and beyond for me and boy did they!! My husband picked up the cake and brought it home and when I saw it, I could not believe how awesome it turned out!! It not only looked amazing, it tasted super fresh. Everyone commented about how great this cake was! The pride you take in your work did not go unnoticed. I really appreciated the extra effort they put it and it truly made my daughter's birthday special....

Got two blizzards from here. One medium Oreo and Heath blizzard ... and one Large Oreo and cheese cake blizzard. Got them ... and realized I forgot to say chocolate ice cream! I very nicely asked the girl if she could please remake it with chocolate and not vanilla ice cream. She said she’d have to charge me. I’ve NEVER been to a DQ that doesn’t ask what kind of ice cream you want?? So I just left with it, but was upset. Got home to realize I only got Oreo blizzards. I went in today for a cake and the cashier was giving me attitude because I had hand her a $100 bill and she had an attitude for no reason and when she ask me what color she gave me attitude and I told her what’s the attitude and she gave me more attitude and I’m pregnant keep in mind I went in there nice and the other 2 girls who where there too gave me attitude and that’s disrespectful because I wasn’t doing and they took the cake to the back to do I don’t know what but if something happens to my baby it’s there responsibility I’m never going back there again there racist and they...
