If I could give this place less than 1 star I would. I went here Jan 2 to grab a cpl things. First had to drive around the lot about 10 min to find a place to park. There were 2 "new mother/mothers w small child spots" but they were taken, neither had a carseat, hmmm. Got in and got my stuff, the whole time in disbelief of their sky high prices. Up at the checkout lines, there were about 20, only 3 staff operated lines were open! 3 more self checkout lanes which you cannot use without their advantage card. The place was a MADHOUSE. There were ppl w full to the top carts everywhere. No distinct lines. No staff anywhere to be seen. After waiting about 40 min spotted a manager who informed me no additional lanes would be opening. There are more details but long in short, I left my cart and went to Aldi. I wasn't the only one! On our way out, we saw someone else leaving. A severely overweight man who drove away from the mothers parking spot as I carried my toddler to the end of the lot. If you like to wait for long periods to pay ludicrous process then go right ahead! Every one else... Aldi is a...
Read moreLousy produce, high prices. This store is no longer privately owned. This store is understocked especially on sale items. A lot of the time sale items are not even available. Meat is extremely overpriced as is the rest of the store. I got a Rx there that my copay was $30. I went to a small Pharmacy and it was $8.00 same insurance same drug. There is hardly ever anyone to help with prices as it is extremely confusing trying to decipher size and price with thier buy two get two BS. Who needs 4 of one item!!!! No one. Just a way for Giant Eagle to increase profit. I'm really exhausted with thier buy 2 get 2 or buy 4 get 2 etc. Meat is really lousy so who wants to buy 5 lbs of chicken legs with two people eating. Most of shoppers are on SS AND using SNAP. Do they really think they are helping seniors???? We only buy a few items there now. We go to Aldis and Shop and...
Read moreLove this giant eagle. Staff is always very helpful and friendly. They usually ask if you need help if they are in the same aisle as you. Great selection of produce. I the store is always very clean and neat. I always see people stocking the shelves during the day, but it's never where it's in the way or bothering me. And those that are stocking shelves stop to ask if you need help! I have not used the pharmacy here, but this looks like the biggest pain, most days there is a large line with 7 to 10 people in line. But it seems to be very popular! They also have a little section of Steeler clothes and a small section with candles, balloons, and flowers here. They also sell wine and beer. Check out is at the hot foods by the deli....
